Water pours from casino ceilings as Las Vegas hit with more flooding

The most "restless" summer monsoon season in a decade became deadly Thursday as intense lightning and thunderstorms flooded parts of southern Nevada and a leaky ceiling forced table games to stop at one Las Vegas Strip casino.

At least two people have died. The Clark County coroner did not immediately report the identities or causes of death in either case.

When I worked in Vegas during the early 1990's as a roofer most of the big companies had a standard joke in house. "They only leak when it rains"

Why not build pumps in preparation of these times and pump it to Lake Mead instead of trying to plumb the Mississippi for California's water needs...
