‘Egomaniac’: Kelly Rowland goes off on security guard at Cannes Film Festival

Singer and actress Kelly Rowland has been in the spotlight following recent viral footage of her at the Cannes Film Festival.

Footage of Ms Rowland at the film festival shows her scolding a security guard on the red carpet.

Ms Rowland has since addressed the highly publicised incident alleging that she was racially profiled by the security guard.

However new footage has emerged of Dominican actress Massiel Taveras also being moved on at the film festival by the same security guard who was involved in the Kelly Rowland fracas, leading to yet another argument.

‘To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield has weighed in on the viral video of Ms Rowland having a go at the security guard.

“It sounds like everybody was trying to stretch out there 15 minutes in front of the photogs and these people have been instructed to move them along,” Ms Schofield said.

“Somebody is clearly telling her just move these egomaniacs along, we’ve got a showing, we’ve got a premier, get them through the door.”

The white woman behind her wasn't being sped up, she had clear camera on her. This guard just wanted her hands all over Kelly's photos. That is petty. It took the same time it would have taken without that hand. Kelly moved as soon as she was directed but this guard was in her personal space in a very aggressive way as she was moving on ss instructed.
