This is a cover and lesson of the classic surf tune Pipeline. I took elements from the original Chantays' version and The Ventures' version too. I'm playing a 2014 Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster through Logic Pro amp modeling.

I've seen and heard tones and tones of Pipelines and have never heard anybody duplicating it like him. It was rather unique in my opinion..intensity, sound, speed going from slow to much faster at the end..

Great job Tom. This is the first song I learned as a teenager. I learned it from the album Play Guitar with the Ventures, which I still have today.

I'm a long time Ventures/Shadows fan and after Apache this tune is my all time number 2 favourite. Personally I prefer the original Chantays version to the Ventures on this one as it seemed more atmospheric and Tom you've captured that here. Excellent.

First song I learned in to play when I was 10 back in 1967 and then I think the next one was Let’s Go. Either I learned that from the album or my friend showed me. The Ventures had albums called Learn to Play Guitar with The Ventures. That is why I have always been a Ventures fan. I play most of your Ventures songs but I can always pick up a new line or two per song. I was playing with your Hawaii 50 upload and a lick Nokie Edwards used in the song you copied it correctly and I was able to learn from you and my playing sounds better. Thanks for the time to do this. Have you done The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I want to learn that one next.
