Villa is underrated but between those two, it has to be Eto’o. He was an absolute killer in front of the goal and his work rate was phenomenal. As Evra stated, Eto’o would often times help the team defensively if he wasn’t busy scoring important goals. Villa had two great tournaments for spain and scored a goal in the Cl Final for Barça. Which they would’ve won regardless. Eto’o lead Cameroon to a AFCON and to two WC tournaments. He scored in two CL finals, scored over 100 goals for Barça and was one of the main reasons why they became a european powerhouse again. Still the only player who won back to back trebles with two different clubs. Again, Villa was class, but between those two, it has to be Eto’o.

Villa is super clinical, also a fantastic world class striker. Eto’o is more pacy with incredible acceleration and he and Ronaldinho made Barca the greatest club of the mid 2000s.

His running and pace coupled with poacher instincts makes him among the great strikers

Prime Eto'o was beast but Villa was the embodiment of consistency and longevity. Apart from a season when he had his freak injury he came back and could still get it done. Solid and consistent. I chose Villa.

Remember this: No Villa = No Euro 2008, no WC 2010, no Spain.

😂villa was more all around better especially for the style Barca wanted to play I always make the argument that 2011 Barcelona is better then 2008 in terms of style and also they almost won every single trophy in 2011 identical to 2008 but they lost in overtime in the copa del Rey to Madrid should have been another sextuple 😤🤷‍♂️😭but man the chemistry was there probably even better since messi was more in his prime in 2011 then 2008 💯
