In the Power of Attorney for Property, do you give the Agent the power to sign on behalf of the Trustee of the Revocable Trust (in addition to signing for the Grantor as an individual)?

In my case, the bank gives me hard time about my lawyer-prepared durable power of attorney because I am a beneficiary on the account. I am the only child, so naturally, my father made me the beneficiary. I am in NY, and we have a law that obligate me to take it, so while they are obligated by law to take it, but lawyers cost money, and at the moment all I need is to make sure my father's CD that he hasn't touched in years doesn't become "unclaimed funds", and the amount we stand to lose if it does is relatively small, but it's the matter of principle. If I'd need his IRAs to pay for long term care, I'll have to take them to court. Caretaking is difficult enough, I don't need this aggravation.
