TRADITION: There is a coin that is placed in the batter of the cake before it is baked. When it is served, the pieces are cut in a specific order. The first piece is dedicated to God, the second to the home and then from there on the pieces are cut in descending order from the oldest person to the youngest. Whoever finds the coin in their piece is promised good health, luck and fortune in the coming year.
