This is why those of us who grew up with the music in the 70's were incredibly lucky.

It was more fun being 20 in the 70’s than it is being 70 in the 20’s

I'm an African American male that grew up in the inner city in Memphis, Tn.in the 60's&70's this is such a sweet, sweet song. I envision dancing with that special someone smelling her wonderful perfume or riding with the top down just her & me laughing & loving! When we grew up we didn't care what color u were, if the music was good we listened to it! I listened to everyone from Gary Puckett & the Union Gap to the Beatles, Motown, Lynard Skynard, The Stones etc. If it was good it was good, we didn't care! Life was simple, easy, & carefree! We had friends of all color & ethnicities, if u were cool then u were cool let's party! We didn't realize it then but those were the best yrs & times of our lives! I'm 66 yrs old now & I truly missed those days! I've got the parts y'all, lets build a time machine and go back for awhile😊 Love, peace & blessings to each and every one of u!✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽

Honestly, this makes my heart beat and makes me want to cry, it's so beautiful. Reminds me so much of when I fell in love with my husband.

I’m a 22 year old in love with 70’s music. You old timers are lucky to have grown up with bands like this.

omg...I'm speechless...this is the most under-recognized acoustic guitar intro ever tracked. Tremendous tune, and incredible vocals. There's a reason that tunes like this haven't been covered...they're too hard to replicate... period.

Very few can harmonize like this 😅to perfection. I can only think of maybe a few others like david crosby, and grahm nash, also seals and crofts. Back in the day when music was the real deal. No auto tune, gimmicks, just pure harmony and rhythm.

The song has always had a place in my heart ever since I heard it the first time when I was a kid in the 70s. To me it’s just one of those perfect songs.

This makes me so sad...not because it sounds bad, but because Orleans are very special to me.

When my dad turned 50 in 2001, I thought I would do something special. Orleans was/is his favourite band of all time, eventhough at that time Orleans wasnt the most wellknown in Europe.

Naive as I was I thought, what if I could write an email to one of the members and ask for an autograph.

A short while after the bands manager had forwarded my email to Larry Hoppen who took time to write me back several times. And after a very long time, since he was obviously very busy, he sent me a package, with the complete works of EVERYTHING that Orleans had ever made and still not released with written commentary to my dad, and autographs from the band members.

This was such an amazing thing, and I promised to send him reaction pictures back from the birthday.

When Instagram became a thing for me, after a long tour in USA as manager for a band in Denmark, I thought I would send him what I promised, only to find out that he died in 2012. 2 months before. I kept his legacy, his emails, his sweet words and a strong proof that he was a fantastic human being.

I wish I could tell his family and his brother, that what he did, made a difference. He became a hero for me that day, just by being a great and compassionate human being.

Mr. Larry Hoppen. - whatever made you leave this planet, wont change, that you are hero to me.

I was born in 1986 but for some reason I love 70s and 80s music. This is one of the songs I keep on playing in my car. Very timeless. I love the blending of their voices.

What a pleasure to hear this kind of music, so tender, so romantic but above all from a healthy spirit. 🌹
