Thank you for using "Genocide" instead of "Ethnic Cleansing." The more you insist on the correct term, the more likely the UN will eventually have to deal with it as part of their charter.

"Ethnic Cleansing" is similar to a phrase we have in the US: "Thoughts and Prayers", which is used by politicians and other public figures to be seen that they're reacting to tragedy (like, every mass shooting we have) with regret, but have no plans to actually change anything. Same exact thing, only now we're aware that "thoughts and prayers" mean nothing, so its use has become more sarcastic than anything else.
