Sara Palin gave a recent interview where she threw down the political gauntlet to Michele Obama and Barbara Bush. She accused Mrs. Obama of trying to usurp the responsibility of
American parents to teach their children healthy eating habits. She thinks it is wrong for Mchelle Obama to encourage children to grow healthy fruits and vegetables and to make them a part of their diet. Then she got into a bit of a fight with former First Lady Barbara Bush over Mrs. Bush's comment that Sarah Palin should stay in Alaska.
So I got to wondering about what Palin's take on Jackie Kennedy and Laura Bush might be.
Excerpts from Sarah Palin's new book America by Heart are being leaked out to the media, and one passage makes a rather pointed attack on First Lady Michelle Obama. Often book excerpts are leaked on purpose in order to generate free promotion. If that were the case this time around, Palin has certainly succeeded, as the media has already run to cover the "cat fight" between her and the First Lady.
