Almost perfect.

Need to figure out why I can't save ID3 data or create new Events. Really reliable.

It takes setting up WINE, Winetricks, Mono, and a few other dependencies.

Man that's awesome! I always wondered if I could just get rid of Windows for radio production. It seems I can. Just some more tweaking but that's great. (RadioDJ should make their software available on Linux).

Well done! In what way was it "not perfect"? The cpu load (that you highlighted at the end)? Or "can't save ID3 data or create new Events"? Or anything else? I have it running without issue in Parallels Desktop btw, on a Macbook with SSD, VM 20GB total, reading media off a macOS (HFS+) formatted disk. Prior to that, just to see if I could do it, I ran it with media in cloud (and cached local copy, after first download), which worked ~half the time i.e. useless in a practical sense. +1 wish for you to make a video explaining the steps for Wine/Crossover, especially if some new version fixes the problems you encountered.

It still has issues, because it's written in .NET, and WINE support isn't great yet.

I think the next version will have more stability. It is great for weeks on some hardware, and maybe as bad as 30 hours on other hardware.

How did you install it? Did you need extra DLLs?
