I paid $58k for my 2023 Lexus IS 350 fully loaded. I put down more than half and I paid it off in 6 months. First car I’ve bought brand new at 25. The only mods I’ve done was an F Sport exhaust and an Artisan Spirits kit from Japan.

Yea that’s simple. The extra payments outside the balance amount become payments against the principal, so effectively by lower the principal you lower the total interest paid. It’s how I also paid for my car quickly. Always pay more than the minimum payment. The bonus extra payment will lower the amount due and push the date out further. I one time prepaid up to a year!

You have a cheap loan at 3%, pay the minimum from now on and put the difference in a HYSA (4-4.5% guaranteed) or the stock market (S&P500 10% on average) if you have the risk tolerance

I’m looking to buy one as well but the dealer rates are at 5.5% for 60 months. Would you mind me asking how that interest rate is obtainable?
