SDG 8: DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
Показать описание
In 1981 there were 1,900 million poor people in the world and now there are 800 million, when the population is of 7,500 million
people and before of 4,500 million. Therefore, there has been an incredible success in the improvement of conditions, but
unemployment is still massive, and those 800 million – more than the full population of Europe – receives 2 dollars a day as a salary.
The sustainable and inclusive economic growth that benefits everybody and doesn't damage the environment, can only be achieved by
creating decent employment. Women, the young and other groups in a vulnerable situation should have the same opportunities. And
most importantly of all: we should end with child forced labour and we should boost entrepreneurship and technological innovation. It's in our hands.
