Implementing TF-CBT for Children with Complex Trauma

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based treatment for children with complex trauma. However, implementing TF-CBT for children with complex trauma requires certain considerations. This webinar will define and differentiate historical complex traumatic experiences from a current complex trauma clinical presentation. The presentation will address considerations for implementation of TF-CBT for these children throughout the components and phases of TF-CBT. A particular focus of the webinar will on safety and stabilization skills as well as trauma narration and processing.
