I don't understand why people despise this. This concert happened the same day he died, it is more than appropriate to preform it in a somber tone. Also, he didn't 'forget' the last verse, he chose to end it at the point in the song where they say 'Beastie Boys'. I don't think there was any better way to preform this song as a tribute.

I listened to the Beasties as a kid and now that I'm older, I listen to Coldplay. This brought a tear to my eye. Excellent work, guys.

It doesn't matter what you think of Coldplay. I can confirm after 5 repeats, that it is true brilliance. It may not sound perfect, but he sings with a genuine passion and meaning. A very touching tribute to a great man.

I was in the 8th grade when this cut was originally released and I was thrown back by its power and creative fuse of hip hop, punk and heavy metal. Literally, the original song made me want to raise the volume to its max and yell out every lyric! I have always been a Beastie Boy fan and forever will. For those who can not see the brilliance of Coldplay's tribute in my opion is a either a complete moron or a pathetic troll who wouln't know a good song if it Kicked you in the Face. Let the Fuckery Begin!!! R.I.P. MCA
