I think the reason behind this is that the people who made the sniper bots decided to be smart and disguise their bots as engineers and not have them look upwards all the time. That way, players would get confused on which engineer is a bot and which one isn’t

Tip: Bots hate sentries so build a level 3 sentry in a spot they always go to and use the rescue ranger to repair your sentry from a distance they can't see you at.
Oh and be sure to have your dispenser next to you

as soon as you posted this i see tons of heavy medic combo bots roaming around
