Hi mate; hope you are well. I've been looking at your videos with interest, together with other folk's videos on obd2/diagnostics etc. I'm an old school Panel Beater (49), and was lucky enough to serve my time in my Ol'boy's bodyshop up here in North West Scotland. I had a welding torch in my hand at 12 year old, so have been around cars since I can remember. I do all my own mechanical repairs, save obd2 essentials- and have just put a clutch, brake pipes right through and timing belt and water pump into my 2004, Vauxhall Astra 1.7cdti van, with the 80 hp engine. She's in good strip, so I'm looking after her. When any lights were coming on I had to go to my mate who has a scan tool, and he was about as knowledgeable as me on it, at the time, which equated to, bugger all! I've been studying hard on the subject, and watching everything on YouTube that I can find. The conflicting reviews, opinions and suggestions are many, and soul destroying. Foxwell are getting a ribbing by some, and Autel branded as junk by others. I even saw one guy shooting a hole in his Foxwell with a shotgun, and an Imram guy reviewing his as a fake, as it didn't do what it said on the tin!. I realise that there will not be many options for a van of the age of mine(and Vauxhall not good as regards obd2 I hear), but I'm looking for a scan tool that will effectively diagnose ABS, SRS DPF, as much as poss basically, In order that I may carry out repairs on my own vehicle and as many family member's vehicles as poss within reason. What do you suggest; your help would be greatly appreciated mate...ATB John.

Can I save the data log file and open it in other programs like Matlab or python script?
