Years ago, when I was 16 or 17 years old, one summer evening in Istanbul, I was driving with my father on Kennedy Street towards Florya. I remember very well, the sun is red and setting. Light traffic and listening to Capitol Radio. And this wonderful song started playing.

Unfortunately no Shazam, no youtube, just a melody in my mind that I can't describe.

Ohh my god, I have a headache and every day I hear this song and I always catch it halfway through. Somehow when the song ends the DJ switches to another song.

And I'll never forget I caught it on HBB TV and Boyz II Men were singing the most amazing song of this universe.

Boyz II Men? It was like a perfume brand. The song that sticks in my mind...
I think it's been 30-odd years and I listen to it every day and repeat it like a verse from a hymn book. Even though it has bitter lyrics, the breeze of 16 years old has always stayed with me.

I listened to it the day my father died, I listened to it when my daughter was born. Today I am 48 years old and I realize that it is the most precious frequency of the universe that connects me to life and proves that there is no end to the road.
