I definitely agree with #1. But for me a close second is the title screen for Majora’s Mask. What starts off pleasant and not eerie at all changes by the end. At the beginning you see the inhabitants of Clocktown going about their daily lives and there’s no indication of anything sinister going on. But there’s a low pitched melody almost imperceptible under the entire song that ends up carrying the song in a completely different direction. Eventually it overtakes the main melody which leads the song straight into the creepy Majora’s theme. And then you see the moon. . .

All these picks were on point. Great video. If I had to suggest some extra Zelda music themes you didn’t mention though, the Light and Dark World dungeon themes in A Link to the Past are super atmospheric and eerie to me.

I don't really listen to music, but Zelda Music is so amazing that I would buy an all stars collection just for a soundtrack menu

For me, the Lakebed temple theme from Twilight Princess was always a very eery piece of music and the dungeon itself has this atmosphere too.

This video segment was very very cool! Thanks for putting the time and effort into making this. I really enjoyed watching how the cut scenes and content were used for this. A lot of the Zelda Games' music is quite eerie and rather unique like you mentioned behind regards of the composers. I always thought the castle town's music was pretty special though in Breath of The Wild. That piano themed music has that subtle aire of mystery to it which sort of sounds like it wants to be eerie in some cases, but then it might not wanna be. That and the labyrinth score are both two of my most favorite. You are very beautiful by the way. Hope all is well

My number one will be Clock Town, Third Day, form Majora's Mask. You can hear the low notes in the background while the "hapy" festival music plays nerviously fast on top, trying to hide the fear and paranoia of the town. Is very, very uncomfortable, at least for me, both when I was a child, and now.

its way too late for this but i just re read the balled of songbirds and snakes and i need to tell someone my theory that the place gale and katniss go to after hunting is the same rundown building that snow and lucy gray went into right at the end of the book!

also right before katniss sings the hanging tree song the mockingjays start singing and gale says "now theyll never shut up" which now that we know snow HATES mockingjay is another way of showing gale being changed by war and becoming a little too much like snow leading up to him killing prim!
