Omg that street found at 1:10 has my mystified. It's like magic just stretching it out down the stick. So was that potato chips he was making there? I like your description of 'tequila's more sophisticated cousin'. Like, I get that! Very vivid descriptions of the taste there. I'd never be able to do that! Just 'it tastes good' or 'not sure about that'.

Bonjour and merci for a great video. We were in Oaxaca at about the same time as you in December 2018. I did not love the Jardin Etnobotanico (you can only see it on a tour and the English tour had so many people that it was hard to hear). However, I loved the view of the garden that you captured from the old monastery. If anyone is deciding which to see - I recommend the monastery next to the cathedral. You get great views of the garden plus the monastery itself is gorgeous. We also went to Puerto Escondido on that trip. Keep it up. From a new subscriber.

Wow, that chilli mango looked really interesting! Never heard of that before. Loving the sound of Mezcal too, I love trying local spirits! I'm sure it gets much better as you drink more and more haha. You guys do such a good job of explaining the flavours of what you are tasting, Not too sure about the bugs though haha

I’ve wanted to visit Mexico for ages, I plan something and always end up in Japan 😂 this is why I want to visit Oaxaca though, it’s amazing! Is Mexico vegan friendly?

Yeah, mezcal definitely isn't for everybody. It really does taste good in cocktails, though.

Edit: I should add though that some purists consider it sacrilegious to mi it with anything.
