Fantastic explanation, thanks a lot.

By the way, the command "default-information originate" is as something like "redistribute static" command in RIPv2?If so, what about in EIGRP?

Does anyone know if this has been updated for the latest Icnd2 Exam? I have passed CCENT but I would love to use this for Icnd2.

When was he going to go over process ID and Router ID and their significance. Kind of just skipped ahead and mentioned them while in the CLI

why do you put clock rate on only one of the interfaces and give no explanation

ISP router's DEFAULT ROUTE is weird to me.
Shouldn't it point out to the CLOUD, especially that
you generally don't have the destination address for the cloud!???
Then make whatever summary routes are necessary to reach the ASBR!?
Wouldn't that be more STANDARD (as in what you'd normally encounter)
for the everyday world !????

Your default routes on ISP RTR and ASBR RTR make NO SENSE TO ME!!!
If a PC in AREA 1 wants to reach an UNKNOWN IP on the INTERNET....
The packet will make its way to the ASBR which has a DEFAULT ROUTE to the ISP RTR
(I suppose the ISP RTR is the internet EDGE RTR in my company !???)….
OF COURSE THE ISP RTR doesn't have a route for this unkown IP EITHER...
So it should normally ship the packets to the YOUR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER...
Either through a DEFAULT ROUTE or through BGP maybe! (but that's not configured here!)
INSTEAD your ISP ROUTER has a DEFAULT ROUTE that POINTS BACK to the ASBR !???
Won't this cause a LOOP !????
CONFUSED !!!

UNLESS...
Your ISP RTR is ACTUALLY....THE ROUTER FROM THE ISP !!! (At their location)
But you didn't put that ISP RTR inside the cloud !!!
So I thought it was ALSO Customer Premise Equipment...
But simply OUTSIDE the OSPF process!!!
