If anyone wants a beginner helicopter, this one would be it, the main rotors cancel each other's torque and there is no tail rotor to push you sideways. It literally just goes up like a newbie would expect. Not sure if this is realistic but it is definitely plausible.

Fantastic review! For future reference, the hole in the floor that you can lower a hook through is colloquially called a "hell hole".

I've been flying a conversion for a while, and it was OK. This is fantastic! It's going to get even better after SU15 comes out, too. Our group will be flying helicopters across the Antarctic, and I'll be taking this beast. :) Can't wait. Personally, I think it's worth every penny.

You may have lost the load from going too fast. 120 knots is the limit for external cargo .

Looks fantastic, but putting the Hide Tablet clickspot right behind the tablet clickspots isn't the greatest design choice. 😉

I like the Chinook, but one thing that really throws me off is how quiet it is in the cockpit. In real life it's deafeningly loud, but in the game it's so quiet you can hear a pin drop.

Other than that I think they did a fantastic job with the model.

from what ive been told by an ex chinook pilot is that the computer system controls the yaw for the most part very little pedal input needed

The Chinook is an inherently very stable heli. It's easier to control than the SkyCrane for antenna construction.
