The White Tiger, written by Aravind Adiga, is the winner of the Man Booker Prize 2008. The book tells the story of Balram Halwai, who is the son of a rickshaw puller and belongs to an extremely poor family living in Gaya, Bihar. The story is about the journey of Balram from the darkness to the light, from living a poor life to being a successful entrepreneur.
