Dr. Fornoni is not only a tenured Professor of Medicine and Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, but she also is the Chief of the Katz Family Division of Nephrology and Hypertension. She serves as and Director and Chair of the Peggy and Harold Katz Drug Discovery Center and sits on NephCure's Scientific Advisory Board.

When she's not researching and developing new drugs to help patients with chronic kidney disease, you may find her on the tennis court, swimming, or cooking up a new recipe!
