To detect artificial lights on exoplanets, we would need much more advanced telescopes with significantly higher resolution and better contrast capabilities. Such technology is still in the realm of theoretical future missions.
For now, our observations of Proxima b are limited to indirect methods, such as the radial velocity measurements that led to its discovery and potential future transit observations that could tell us more about its atmosphere and basic characteristics.

I even commented on the situation regarding space travel within our own solar system...from information I've gathered...under intense study as a "layperson" in astronomy:

The problem with the Moon is the electrical charge our Earth's moon gets from our Sun; because the Moon has no significant atmosphere or magnetic pole🤔
From what I've gathered, the dust from the Moon clinged electrostatically to Apollo astronaut's suits & caused a plethora of problems...not to mention the dust is highly abraisive & ruined gear.
That & the financial reasons are why no missions to the Moon haven't occurred since 1972.🤔

The 2nd factor is solar radiation exposure.
Astronauts, once exposed to a certain level of milisieverts, are "grounded" due to the detrement to health that is caused by even low earth orbits for a matter of days, weeks & months.
Bone density fails, blood pressure goes unstable, eyesight fails & radiation exposure causes cancer.
Not fun.

Due to the ravages on the human body from space travel, a journey to Mars would be a one-way-trip under the current space exploration standards.

The whole thing about Proxima Centauri & exploring its planet, Proxima B is astronomically improbable...& impossible by our understanding & present technology.
Nevermind "the time it takes to get there", because we have to return to what I explained in the beginning:

Okay, I thought I had a pretty good grasp on time dilation, but you just screwed me all up. I thought the farther away from Earth you got, the slower you’d age. But now, from what I understand from your video, because a year on Proxima B is only 11 days, we’d age faster. So you’re saying if we were on Proxima B in 66 days we’d actually age 60 years?

People have actually been asking that question for thousands of years. It’s almost like humans were created to look up and ask who else is out there, are we along in the universe? To early? To late? Or perhaps was an impossibility but for some reason, just once life started up. Or maybe plant life is not uncommon at all, but for some reason on earth something different happened. Maybe sentient life doesn’t exist anywhere. Would you even know if you’re not. We know plants communicate and warn each other of danger. So do they know?

If there are billions and billions of visible stars, and life exists on a planet orbiting one star out of a hundred thousand stars, that's alot of life out there.

if this telescope can see 90 billion light year's away, why can't it see 4 light year's and what's on the planet. To me, they don't even know what kinda life is in the depths of the ocean. I do believe there is other life beings out there.

The distance is so great out there there no chance humans are going to land on any of them.

The smart money on any off eath colony is the moon first.
Living humans will never leave are system. Even if we figure out the fuel problem it will take yrs to reach the other planets.
