Sarah is a young jewelry designer & metalsmith in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her work spans the full spectrum of jewelry, however, she is starting to become better known for recycling ‘old gold’. Interestingly, many clients are taking their family heirlooms, grandmothers wedding rings and the like & having them melted down into newly created rings that will serve as wedding bands for the next generation. Thanks for sharing your interest, I too, started on the college course and got hooked. Still doing college as an evening course (5 years) and now it’s become more a social club, with all of us exchanging ideas and enjoying time together. I just incredibly admire how feminine she is. Being a jeweler my self, it’s hard to find woman just crushing it in this industry. She’s incredible. One day I would love to have a piece designed by her!!!
