Oh my my what a beautiful way to go into & down Memory Lane - with the background music you close your eyes & imagine being in this place of awe & wonder, how the people lived, obviously liked their existence in such a place. I understand for most of these ancient peoples there was no choice but oh my how well this place sheltered the Peoples of that time in History. Just came back from Cappadocia, and Zelve was my favorite. For those who plan to visit, I also recommend hiking in: White/Love Valley, Pigeon Valley and Red/Rose Valley.

I stayed a month n still didn't see it all, but like you I rented a car and kept on traveling! Yes these lil villages that look uninhabitable are indeed peoples homes😔makes you feel grateful for what you have! It's very rare to see dangerous animals in Turkey.
