Context: In this episode Stewie and Brian see this news footage and realize this guy looks very similar to Stewie. Stewie believes this proves he isn't Peters son and instead this mans. They go on an adventure looking for him and find out this isn't Stewies father but actually Stewie himself from the future. Stewie literally piggieback rides on him into the future to see what it's like and after seeing their families lives sees his future self as a loser and is still a virgin. He tries to help him with his life but only makes it worse and it's revealed near the end that the whole reason Stewie ends up like this is because of the one episode where he sets off explosives on a lifeguard chair but it accidentally falls on him instead, resulting in him later in life being afraid of death and taking fewer risks. So Stewie goes back in time to that instance and stops the lifeguard chair from falling on him. The past Stewie he saves disintegrates him though and the rest of the episode continues as if nothing happened.
