1973-S PCGS PR69 Deep Cameo Silver Ike Dollar at Art and Coin TV

The Eisenhower Dollar series began in 1971. A Dollar coin was designed to honor President Dwight D. Eisenhower as well as the Apollo 11 moon landing. The obverse features a portrait of Eisenhower and the reverse is a modified version of the Apollo 11 insignia. The coins were struck in two different compositions, 40% silver for collectors and copper nickel for circulation. These 1973-S Silver Eisenhower dollars were graded by PCGS and achieved the near perfect grade of PR69 Deep Cameo! This is a key date for the Ike Dollar series and is a must for every collection.
