I just played with my new set today. I like it. The smallest piece does have the striped piece in the middle. My advice, my preferece is for all the strips, so I lined up the pieces and taped the two pieces together on the back then used my powder bag to remove the stickiness from the tape on the cutting side. I agree with your review. 100%.

If you go to Sizzix.com search Lynda Kanase dies click on bow die click on instructions there is a pictorial that can be downloaded. I believe you are right about using either thin cardstock or even paper rather than a heavy cardstock.

UCSB make small one and bigger one for small u use the little one and med one for bigger u use the two u used to make the one u made hope that makes sence
