Whenever I top mine up, it destroys any balance I’ve got left so I seem to lose money every time I top it up I’m gonna phone them up tomorrow. I don’t know if anyone else is having that problem.

I have never heard of electricity keys and pre paying for your gas and electric until now but i live in the US this seems crazy and seems like it would be a lot more expensive they dont have regular companies like excel where you just call and pay once a month ?

Can I ask, cos I just recently switched to a new company for electric prepayment, but i also got remaining credit from my previous one. If I put it my new key into the meter, will I lose my current credit?....

Is there a limit to how much you can top up in one go? I heard you can only put £50 on them at a time.

I have recharged into the meter but it still doesn't show recharged balance.Still lots of confusion it buzzered as Token accepted

Yes use a pre pay meter and pay up to a third more than a normal meter.

Topping up in my area is a real problem, alot of shops won't top up unless you purchase something at the same time, otherwise they tell you the top up machine isn't working!
