Place Value Game with 10 sided dice and Virtual Counters

A two person game in which students roll a 10 sided dice and try to come up with the larger number. This helps with a stronger sense of place value. Student and tutor can both move virtual place value counters to reinforce the idea too.

This is also an excellent way to demonstrate how remote online tutoring can work, with tutor and student in a completely different part of the world. Video, writing and moving objects all done on virtual paper product BitPaper.
