Outright Lap Record – Castle Combe Circuit | Stefano Leaney, Hardall F3 Cup Championship (12/06/21)

Watch as Stefano Leaney breaks Castle Combe Circuit's outright lap record in his Dallara F317 open-wheel race car, as the Hardall F3 Cup Chamionship descended on the Wiltshire venue for 'The Big Race Day' event on Saturday, 12 June 2021.

Leaney achieved a time of 58.596 seconds (averaging 113.66mph) during this lap, which was an improvement on his previous effort of 58.759 seconds set earlier in the day.

Both of Leaney's aforementioned laps beat the previous record at the circuit – held by Dan Clarke when F3 last visited the venue back in 2005.

That was awesome to watch from the infield on saturday after pushing one of the other cars off the grid. Smooth lines, looks effortless, didn't seem to use all the track either - top job!
