Very bad quality in low light for a "Night Camera" :o( Lots of noise, very blurry and unsharp.

works with my raspi 3, but wtf is it not readable with vlc? first device ever ( i have tried loads of other cams and certainly it works for every usb cam )where it does not work out of the box. Is there a player which will simply display the image without havuing to do time capture to file first ?

thanks for the instruction. the only issue im seeing here is there is alot of noise in the image capture. Is that a setting related thing, or is it coming from the sensor? if so, what would be a possible solution? Since, form my sources, it can also act as a IR thermal camera, would we have to add a cooling unit, like a small fan or heat sink, behind the camera unit to reduce noise?
