So, this video blew up on Reddit, then Twitter, then Facebook. The original sleeping cat was just a GIF but it was just begging for some real drums.

Here’s how we made it. We programmed this cat using our Circles Garage library ‘ROOT STAR’ Kontakt preset. It’s got all the multiple velocities and round robins for this complicated metal cat. Each paw is linked to a different drum. We manually added the hits and dynamics on a 1/32 grid. It took us about an hour. Oh, and the cat is left handed as many Redditors pointed out! 🐈 🥁 #drumsolocat
