This was the first Matchbox model kit I ever built. Even though I did a shoddy job of building and painting the kit, it was still my best looking model tank.

Such a satisfying tank shape. I'd rate it just behind the crusader and Luchs for looks and a much more effective vehicle.

38mm armor maximum.
25mm-1in on 70% of the tank.
That's a tank that was made for fast attack and to never be seen by the enemy, because if you were spotted in this tank, you were in trouble. The only benefit to having armor only an inch thick was most AP shells in 1945 were fused to explode after penetrating a certain thickness of armor. So instead of exploding inside the tank the rounds would over penetrate the armor and sail through one side and out the other...

Got this thing in War Thunder.

First game had something like 29 kills.

8 of them were aircraft.

When the HE shells got reworked to be stronger, i tried this thing again.

17 kills.

All tanks. 6 of them with HE shells.

Dude you can't make up how good this thing felt to drive. And now I see it MOVING IRL?!
