Of course Marx matters. No greater intellectual was ever more mistaken about the subjects about which he propounded than Marx. He truly is the father of intellectual rot. To see his empirically failed ideologies still held in high intellectual regard by people with advanced degrees is quite an achievement.

Shameful. Makes me embarrassed to be an alumnus. Celebrating a man whose ideas are responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands.
