My favorite story about the Taylor/Fisher/Reynolds triangle...when Elizabeth was up for the Best Actress Oscar - for a role no one thought was that great - she won at the ceremony after being on death's door after a tracheotomy. The story goes that Debbie Reynolds was asked on the red carpet if she thought Elizabeth Taylor would win best actress, and Debbie replied: "Hell, even I voted for her." Whether or not that's truth or just Hollywood mythology...it's an epic story!
