Notice the intricate detail in the eyeballs—the reflections interrupted by the shadows of the eyelashes, and the soft bounce of light from the lower eyelid into the bottom of the eye. The iris shows beautiful depth, moving from light to medium to dark tones. It’s all about the fine details to achieve this level of realism, and of course, plenty of patience.
