MSR The Driver's Edge 15May11 1. 7 mile CW direction

A few laps from Sunday's first afternoon session with The Driver's Edge in the Red run group on MSR's 1.7 mile track running CW. This is the first solo session for me after getting some great instruction.

The goals were to be smoother overall with car control while working on higher corner entry speeds by keeping the car balanced from braking thru turn in - and beyond. My instructor drove my car the first half of last session and then directed me while I worked on implementing the techniques the second half. He is a professional race driver with a lot of experience in GT3's so I was very lucky & grateful to have his time!

My 2004 Guards Red Porsche GT3 has be modified with
Recaro Speed seats (street/track),
Schroth 4 point harness,
GMG world challenge harness/roll bar,
Nitto NT01 315/30 R & 245/40/18 F on TR Motorsports 18" forged wheels,
GMG Thrust Arm bushing kit,
BMC air filter,
and a short shift kit.
