I fucked up and looted his crossbow (he was disarmed) and it immediately started combat. Didn't save until before the fight. RIp 30 minutes.

I convinced him to join me then i killed him after the fight
I had not forgoten what his throne was made off in the temple...
And i was sick of making compromise with demons
