I would advise changing the labels of the players as mentioned by other comments. For educational purposes the fix, back man or anchor play at the back while the target, pivot top man, play at the top of the diamond.

Furthermore, the diamond is more a defensive formation, when going into attack it either becomes 3-1 or 1-3 depending on the rotations or 2-2/4-0 again depending on movement of the players.

Good analysis and work.

Keep it up.

Brilliant analysis! As a player, always to keep in mind Pass-Move principle. Then start thinking about the diamond or triangle forms.

Brilliant demonstration of ball control with the sole, constant movement to set up a free lane and shot on goal, as well as superb awareness of position responsibilities. Plus, the music is great to listen to! Nice.

I think the who stand in the back is anchor, and the one who stand in front is pivot

Being a goalie in futsal is scary. You're gonna get smacked in the face by the ball at some point

So Japan seem exceptionally good at keeping the ball on the half way line for ages while losing and then it amounting to absolutely nothing

It is a simple game. Players need to stay organized . I looks like one of the players goes forward and others maintain the ball and look for better position.

Futsals great, i love it. I love some things about it even more than normal football.

My team does this when we have corner. Firstly two players run to the goal, and then take the corner to the sweeper and he takes one touch and then he passes back to the corner taker and he just blasts it towards goal. My team success rate on this is probably like 70 %. I hope someone notices my comment and tells me what they think about it.

Such basic tactics that even a child could understand. ….. but actually applying it at a high level is very difficult

Pivot(target man), one at the back is called fixo/anchor.

Neither team is running a "diamond", they both run a 3-1, with Japan transitioning to a 4-0 in between. If you pay close attention you will notice that 3 defenders play from the back with the Pivot up top as a target, but Japan switches around like a 4-0. Watch minute 1:22, that's when Japan starts the 3-1 rotation, the fixo receives and passes wide, then immediately makes a diagonal run, the person who receives pass then does the exact same thing but to the opposite side. Just watch and you will see the entire rotation, same with Brazil. 3-1 is the most common, but for player development I like the 4-0 rotation.
