Absolutely my favourite actor. When he’s on screen you can’t look anywhere else. His face, his eyes, his voice, and the cadence of his delivery keep you utterly spellbound. And his monologues…! Most actors that do them well need to be huge, grandiose, and explode at the right spots. Walken never quite explodes. But you always think he’s about to. Most of his best work is in how tight his movements are. If you’ve seen True Romance you know what I’m talking about.

I truly LOVE this man. From the first moment of the first movie I saw him in. The Deer Hunter, to now. And what a handsome man, especially, but not limited to his younger years. Fans get it, we get his persona in all his glorious oddness. I saw an interview with him and he said his speech pattern comes from his Polish immigrant parents learning how to speak English.
