He's a storyteller. He's a real human. He's a survivor of demons that have killed others. He's just a man and that is what makes him amazing.

I love Dave. He’s one of the very very best. Seeing the Foo Fighters live was one of the best times of my life. They played for almost 3 hours and freaking crushed it.

I like when the host and the guest are musicians. They understand each other and the conversation is like talking to their peers.

I love how he looks at her as she gives her interpretation of the lyrics to learn to "Learn to Fly" and quickly says in so many words nope it's not that deep!😂😂😂😂

Dave Grohl may be my all time favorite rock star. If only they were all such regular people who truly understand how fortunate they've been. That's a guy I would love to have a beer with.

That Rockin' 1000 version of Learn to Fly is so amazing, and the dialog it created with Dave was so enriching. So beautiful.

That’s one of the best things about music! It’s about how each person CAN interpret it in a different way that means something to them, even if that’s not the way someone “intended” it to sound. Music is the ultimate form of magic and it’s meant for EVERYONE to ENJOY in some way or another! Dave Grohl has always carried the torch in the “Hope music” category. Love this man!!! ❤️

Dave came to Australia, the first gig after the pandemic. He opened with “times like these”. Lots of tears in the crowd. Thanks Dave.

Fun fact: The girl who he was in love with when he wrote Everlong was Louise Post from the band Veruca Salt

I love it. The lack of pretense is great. It drives me nuts when artits refuse to go into the meaning behind their work.

I think many are insecure, dave is just like fuck it, this lyric was about me wanting to learn to fly. Knowing the truth does not subtract from the meaning from others. I wish more artists would take note.

My favorite Dave lyric by far is "Hook me up a new revolution, 'cause this one is a lie. We sat around laughing and watched the last one die..."

The visual of him, Taylor and Nate sitting on a couch is so there in my mind and isn't that how so many revolutionary ideas go out of fashion?
