Judging by the Wart Dog's appearance, they are not Dogs

They are descended from Jurassic mammals(mammalianformes) like Feredocodon chowi or Dianocodon, which found their way to the Hollow earth and evolved to fill a similar niche.

Judgment by thick tails and skull shape.
