PS5 Disc noise?

This sound has started after last update on July 8th in my opinion. I am with the console since december 2020 and never noticed it.

It makes the sound when the game is downloading but my other disk is quiet when I am playing it. It only makes the sound when you start up the cd.

I have Xbox series X and Ps5. I have to admit Microsoft does a remarkable job at making their consoles quiet. Like bro if you have an Xbox you know what I’m talking about. You can’t even hear the fan like literally no noise coming from the console. I forget that it’s on at times fr. My ps5 be sounding like a jet😭

I just got my ps5 and the moment where i put a disc the ps5 start making noise so much

Bro this is totally fine..it always happens in my ps5 while I turn it on or try to return from the rest mode ♥..but never had faced any issues for happening this

Mine makes the same noise but only when I don’t have a disc in the system

It's ok like 20 seconds these noise will off
Ur ps5 is good there is no problem in ur ps5

So its normal that the disc drive sounds loud ?

It happened to me and eventually the disc drive just stopped taking discs. So I just buy games digital now.

I have just added disc drive and it started making noise like this!! What to do? 😢

Bro guys it’s ok if you have a ps5 digital or disk it’s ok when you go to a game the noise stops
