Chalkidiki Pefkohori

Pefkohori is a large settlement in the prefecture of Halkidiki. It is located approximately 105 kilometers from Thessaloniki and is surrounded by a pine forest, as its name suggests. Based on the population census of 2011, the inhabitants are 1,931. the settlement is developed for tourism and its sandy beach attracts many visitors every year. In the village there are, among other things, two kindergartens, a primary school, a high school, a rural clinic, KAPI and an active cultural club called "Alkyon". a Social Care Unit also operates in the village.
