When the darkness comes, even the smallest ember burns like the sun. All Might truly was ONE FOR ALL!

What i love about this scene is how much it parallels both the symbols and its characters.

All Might is the symbol of peace, but peace doesn't always come permanent. We can see this by how he reacts to villain activity throughout the show, how he's always unable to "be there" on time, or even, at all. This is explicitly portrayed in the very first episode, when Izuku finally realizes who All Might really is from the inside.

But this specific scene branded All Might something far greater than a symbol of peace, something permanent. The moment All Might pushes his limits to beat an unbeatable villain, the moment when he sacrifices something important to him, the very thing that made him the "symbol of peace."

At that moment, he became the symbol of hope.

The thing that makes me the most emotional, is that he could have just jumped out the way, but took the hit to protect that one woman caught in the rubble. He gave everything up to save that one person. All might embodies a true hero...

I was shaking, I was screaming, I was crying. It was hype, it was scary, it was sad. And I so love the visual before and after the flame goes out and being handed the power and then the "you're next".

The way this series portrays heroes and villains is probably my favorite in fiction. A combination of both the brutality and hopefulness, mixed with the variety of stories they tell for each character. Mha is solidified as a top3 in my shonen list
