We followed instructions. The copper is the correct length. However, the spout will not go flush to the wall. Suggestion?

hi. when I turn my shower on some water still comes through the faucet while the shower is going. is there a remedy for this? thanks

It said in the video if there's threaded pipe then you need threaded spout? But if mine's threaded but still the right length, can't I still just slide it over?

The 1/2 inch adapter that came with the kit doesn't quite fit into my 1/2inch copper pipe coming from the wall ( 1min 50sec in the video) Is there an effective way to slim down the adapter (aggressively sand it?) or slightly expand my copper pipe from the wall?

If you have a threaded end copper pipe, can we just cut it so it will turn into a slip on pipe.mso i cud use a smart spout?

Damn, I thought this was the bomb until I realized it doesn't have a set screw that locks the spout in place on the copper pipe, so it doesn't rotate.
You can tighten the one screw that draws it to the wall as much as you want and possibly break the tile, but the spout still rotates with light pressure.
And it leaks a small stream out the spout, no matter how you manipulate the pull. I found pulling the diverter prior to turning on the water leaked the least.

The only reason I got this was because the old diverter was leaking. The diverter still leaks on this brand new spout. What can I do?
