Andechs Monastery | Easter Sunday Special mini Walking Tour 4K

A mini tour of the Andechs Monastery in Bavaria, Germany. Since 1100s, the Andechs mountain has been a pilgrimage site because of the relics brought from Rome and the Holy Land by Count Rasso of Diesen. The Benedectine abbey was actually later constructed, in 1423, on the so-called ‘holy mountain’. Aside from being a pilgrimage site, it is also a famous brewery in Germany. Yes, you read that right, a brewery and a monastery!
