No. It checks to see if it is a valid credit card number.

Yes. Visual Studio is for windows though and it relies on the .Net Framework meaning it would only work on windows. I suggest learning some C++ (not Visual C++)

Don't be a skid and just copy and paste the code. Just view it is 720, fullscreen and you should be able to see it.

that would be much harder as it would require some sort of access to the credit card company and would require the pin number for both cards.
i highly wouldn't suggest trying to make something like that in Visual Basic.

there isn't anything real special about it. Creditcard companies only make card numbers that follow a certain algorithm (Luhn algorithm; look it up on google).

again, I wouldn't make this in Visual Basic. The Visual Basic that comes with Visual Studio isn't anything different than VB Express Edition (with the exception of a few more features).

I wouldn't be able to do anything of that sort, for one, I don't really want to make anything like that, and two, i am on my phone atm.

ok, it works... but it would be nice to understand how it works... i just copied the code without understanding anything... can you please tell us why did you write this code? what does it exactly do? does it use some special algorithm or some other maths to check if the credit card is real?

Because Visual Basic is crap when it comes to making high-priority/more technically advanced programs. I don't have anything against it, but for a program like what you are asking for, visual basic just isn't going to cut it. C++ is some real programming and has probably 1000%+ more abilities than anything visual basic could ever kick out.
